Sarah Brandon is a graduate of Gonzaga Law School whose practice focuses exclusively on family law.
If you asked Sarah what she most enjoys about her job as a family lawyer, she would say that she enjoys crafting creative solutions to her clients’ problems. Sometimes the answer isn’t obvious or isn’t something the court is likely to order on its own, so it’s her job to come up with something that suits multiple parties’ interests and still falls within the parameters of the law.
She is most passionate about oral argument. Making strong legal arguments based on the facts of each case in a way that appeals to multiple interests is the core of getting a good result, and something she loves doing.
She strongly believes that anyone confronted with a summons has a right to the best tools available to them. And she is more than happy to provide those tools. She enjoys working at David J. Crouse & Associates because of the collegial nature of the office. All of the attorneys support each other and benefit from everyone’s experience.
At Gonzaga Law School she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Council and Student Honor Council, with an internship at the Spokane City Prosecutor’s office. She is now a moot court coach at Gonzaga University School of Law.
She was also the President of the Gonzaga University International Law Society and was an associate editor of the Gonzaga Journal of International Law. In her undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, Sarah received the Bancroft Prize for Academic and Public Service Excellence, the Rose Bui Memorial Scholarship, and graduated with honors.
Sarah has lived in several countries and multiple states and has family and friends all over the world. She is fluent in Spanish. She loves living in Spokane but sincerely values the experience of prior travel. She knows that the breadth of her experiences with different people and customs really benefits her clients from all walks of life.
