Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene Idaho, Dalton is proud to serve the community that he calls home. He was drawn to the practice of family law because it allows him to combine strong advocacy and thoughtful guidance during challenging transitions. Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene Idaho, Dalton is proud to serve the community that he calls home. He was drawn to the practice of family law because it allows him to combine strong advocacy and thoughtful guidance during challenging transitions. Dalton understands that family law matters are deeply personal and approaches each case with care, preparation, and attention to detail.
Dalton is a graduate of the University of Idaho College of Law, where his legal education emphasized strong advocacy, clear analysis, and effective legal writing. Dalton also served as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing, teaching first-year law students the fundamentals of legal research and persuasive writing skills that continue to shape his practice today. He also received the CALI Award for Trial Skills, recognizing excellence in courtroom advocacy. Dalton has since worked exclusively in family law with Crouse Erickson.
As a family law litigation attorney, Dalton is particularly focused on developing strong legal arguments and ensuring that his clients’ positions are clearly and persuasively presented, both in writing and in court. He believes that effective advocacy begins with careful preparation and clear communication, and he is committed to providing his clients with the tools they need to navigate the legal process with confidence.
Outside of the office, Dalton enjoys spending time outdoors, engaging in water sports during the warmer months and skiing throughout the winter. Close
