Practice Areas

Jacob Allen graduated from the Gonzaga University School of Law. During law school, Jacob excelled in the Clarke Cup Oral Argument competition, was admitted to Gonzaga Law Review’s editorial staff, and was elected as the Development Chair of Gonzaga Law Review. During law school, Jacob began actively working to ensure fair and equal access to the courts for all residents, regardless of income. This necessarily led to significant work in the areas of criminal and family law matters. It was during this time that Jacob determined that he wanted to focus his practice on family law, and since his graduation from law school, family law has become the sole area to which he limits his practice.

Jacob believes that his clients should have open access to him and his paralegal. He intentionally keeps a balanced and limited caseload so that client’s needs are quickly met and their cases are actively advanced. Jacob enjoys assisting clients in matters dealing with divorce, custody, support and relocation matters. With hundreds of cases successfully resolved, Jacob is able to handle all family issues a client may face. Each case is very important to him. When Jacob is enjoying his time outside the office, he enjoys creative writing although a future novel may need to wait a few more years. Jacob also enjoys “all things music” and tries to regularly hone his guitar playing skills.
